fmr

Floating Move Register

fmr FRT,FRB
fmr. FRT,FRB

Copies a float register (Pseudo: for FRB).

Details

The contents of register FRB are placed into register FRT.

Pseudocode Operation

FRT <- FRB

Programming Note

The fmr instruction is used to copy the contents of one floating-point register (FRB) to another (FRT). It does not alter any special registers unless Rc=1, in which case it updates CR1. Ensure that both source and destination registers are properly aligned for optimal performance.

Example

fmr f1, f3
