buffer_store_short_d16_hi GPU Native ISA AMD Vector
Buffer Memory
Store 16 bits of data from the high 16 bits of a 32-bit vector register into a buffer surface.
Also written as
buffer_store_d16_hi_b16.
AMD's machine-readable ISA specification lists this name for the same instruction.
Encoding
The ENC_MUBUF layout from AMD's machine-readable ISA specification (AMD CDNA 4). Opcode 27 in OP rebuilds 0x00000000E06C0000, an identifier AMD lists for this encoding. Bits marked unassigned have no field in the specification. Not the same in every generation: AMD CDNA 2 (field layout), AMD CDNA 1 (field layout), AMD RDNA 2 (layout not verifiable), AMD RDNA 1 (layout not verifiable). The same in AMD CDNA 3.

In AMD's order, as its machine-readable ISA specification lists them for the ENC_MUBUF encoding (AMD CDNA 4).
